We are not able to transfer or roll over registrations from year to year. Each event has a separate registration process.

In an effort to keep costs low for the event, there are no refunds for this event. In the event of severe weather, or a COVID surge, the event will be cancelled. There are no refunds for cancellation. We cannot roll over registrations from year to year. During the registration process, all attendees were required to read and accept the refund policy by initialing it. By doing so, it indicated your understanding and agreement with the no-refund policy. We believe in transparent communication and ensuring that attendees are informed about the terms and conditions before registering. Please do not email us asking for a refund.

Yes, but you have until Feb 17th to change your shirt size. Log in to ChronoTrack and change your size.

Chingona Race Productions' goal is to build a world of nonjudgmental racing experiences for the everyday female (LGBTQA+) athlete. We envision a day where all women (LGBTQA+) are empowered to participate in sports. TDLC is an inclusive, safe space that encourages and supports all women cyclists (LGBTQA+). We welcome cis and trans women, femme, and non-binary folks. Y’all means all!

The bike ride is only open for women and those in the LGBTQA+ community. Friends and spouses can participate by being a volunteer. They can register as a volunteer on ChronoTrack website.

We have four distances available: 10 miles, 20 miles, 40 miles and 65 miles.

Yes, all distances will start and end at Greenline @ Brooks City Base. Check out directions to campus here.

We are starting from Brooks City Base, routes will be the same from previous years.

The routes will be clearly marked for the event with arrows on the ground and corresponding yard signs.

Yes, parking is available on the Brooks campus, please try to carpool if possible.

You can definitely change the distance, log into ChronoTrack and change your distance.

All waivers are signed electronically on ChronoTrack. Log into ChronoTrack and sign the waivers. If you do not see the waiver when you log into ChronoTrack, you’ve already signed them.

Unfortunately, ChronoTrack doesn’t have a way to add a team to your registration.

Yes, volunteers in SAG vehicles will be monitoring all routes.

Yes, all routes will clearly marked with color coded for each distance arrows on the ground. Each turn will have a posted sign. Check out more information about routes here.

This is an open course, meaning we will be on the road with vehicles. However, we have made every effort in making all the routes as safe as possible. Weeks leading up to the event area businesses and residents will be notified of event. Additionally we are expecting Sandy Oaks PD, Sandy Oaks Animal Services, and Bexar County Public Health along the route to ensure your safety. We will also have volunteers in SAG vehicles.

All the routes will be well marked, but if you do get lost you can call the Chingona Help Line, no really...you will have a cell number you can call and we will find you.

All Tour De Las Chinongas participants must be at least 18 yours old as of the event date. Please note children under 18 are not permitted to ride with you, attached to you, or your bicycle at this time.

Definitely! There are rest stops every 10 – 15 miles.
For the 10 mile route there is only one rest stop.
Restrooms are available at all but 2 rest stops.

We will provide SAG support along with a fleet of volunteers. The SAG vehicles are on hand to assist in getting you back on the road. You should however, carry a spare tube with you. Call the Chingona Help Line to get a SAG driver to pick you up.

You can use any type of bicycle to participate as long as you are comfortable riding it; however we do recommend a road bike for the 40 and 65 mile rides. Ebikes are allowed as long as you maintain a safe speed and are cautious when riding along with a pack.

Although the ride is during the day, we do recommend lights; but they are not required.

One or two spare tubes, hydration, reusable water bottle, nutrition (snack bars, gels, gummies or gu) and cell phone. We will NOT be providing water cups for the tour.

YES!!!!! We know you’re a Chingona, but the pavement is also chingon, so let’s not take any chances.

Since we are in Texas we all know that the weather is a bit unpredictable. Light rain and drizzle definitely won’t melt any Chingona, but we may reschedule, postpone or cancel the ride if there is severe weather.

Absolutely, but unfortunately, ChronoTrack doesn’t have a way to create a team.

You can definitely transfer your registration to another Chingona. Log into ChronoTrack and transfer your registration.

SAVE THE TREES! No need to print the registration email or QR code. Make sure you have the ChronoTrack registration email on your cell phone. If you can’t find it no problem, we can search your registration using your email.
Make sure you know which email address you used when you registered.

If you miss this packet pick up, you can pick up your packet the morning of the tour starting at 6 am.

Our event will likely sell out so please plan ahead! There will likely not be any onsite registration.

You can pickup your friend's packet as long as you have their confirmation email that shows their QR code AND they have signed all the waivers. If they have not signed all the waivers you will not be able to pick up their packet. Please do not print the confirmation email, save the trees.

Unfortunately, not at this time. Please do not have a child under 18 participate with you by either riding with you, attached to you, or your bicycle in any fashion.

Unfortunately not at this time. Our early registration is under $40 which we believe is a very fair price. If you are unable to afford registration please be on the lookout on our social pages for scholarship opportunities as many of our cycling community partners have historically sponsored registration fees.

Teams of 25 or more registrants have a guaranteed team tent area designated to them. Teams have to supply their own tents. Teams with less than 25 members can set up in the team area, but spaces are first come first serve. When you arrive, check in at the starting line before setting up your team tent, we will direct you to the team area. More information about team tents on our Do’s and Dont’s page.
